This book doesn't contain so much of the drama that bloodlines did. It explores more of the romantic side of the characters. Although it wouldn't be a Richelle Mead book if there wasn't a life threatening situation or two...

Lastly I kinda love how awkward and socially inept Sydney is. Like when she is kissing someone she is thinking she should go read a book on how to kiss someone. Lmao
